2004-07-09 [65tyjvw45b]: If that person has Photoshop then it would be really easy to change that background since there is no shadow or reflected light that filters onto the background. Just use the magic eraser with a moderate setting so it doesn't erase the other colours. Those could also be tilted flat after being edited and used for dividers.

2004-07-17 [65tyjvw45b]: Here's the weird thing. On all of my pics I used the colour picker to get the background colour after a screen shot. But, when I converted my images to a non-compressed jpeg the background changes to the colours you are stating. I have perfect backgrounds on all my picks when placed in the Elfhouse descriptions. Only the people using transparent gifs have had prefect backgrounds. Though, I think [acyaws] has a perfect background colour that matches correctly. So, if you use that RGB value then convert then the numbers may be changing even worse and making your backgrounds turn out off.

2004-07-17 [Skydancer]: Folks remember the color temperature of your monitor, including contrast and brightness setting are going to affect what you see, not the actual colors, but a low contrast will allow a wider ranger of tones to look like they are the same. :D
